Does one even know what’s in their food? Read the label, try and read one one of the ingredients in the food. Not knowing what’s in the food a person eats can kill them or make them obese. Some of the thing’s companies put in the food they sell is disgusting. For instance the growth hormones that they put in their food.
In an article by the New York Times they stated that, “the drug, [Bovine Somatotropin] injected twice monthly at the base of cow’s tail, is designed to increase milk production from 5 percent to 20 percent” (Schneider). This drug may not only affect the cows but also affect the person drinking the milk causing them to grow faster. The cow’s milk production should be normal with no hormones added. The hormones companies put in their food is horrendous and it should be restored back to the normal way of regular growth. The way we can do this is to start peaceful protests and make sure that the point gets across.
