This proposal was inspired by the State of Nevada’s similar program that became very successful in addressing at least 200 legal issues for veterans in the first year. The main purpose of the proposal is to allow the Attorney General to recruit, train, and organize volunteer attorneys to provide enhanced support and facilitate legal services by building on existing programs (Ferguson & Tymczyszyn, 2016). Army Veteran, and a Legal Consultant, I support the Attorney General’s proposal and will volunteer my time to serve those who served, and are currently serving our country. I believe that we must invest more of our time, knowledge, experience, and potential in providing our veterans and their families the legal assistance they earned.
