Military Spouse: A Case Study Of A Memorial Site And Heart Warming

Decent Essays
We decided one day to drive through downtown. In my opinion, every city you go, you must scout out the downtown area. Its pretty much the heart of a city and you never know what you'll find. Not every city takes care of their downtown area but they definitely should. In this case we found a Memorial Site and it was heart warming. Since I became a Military Spouse I guess I'm much more aware of all that our service members sacrifice in the name of our Country and have developed pride and respect for all those fighting for us. These Memorial sites keep me grounded. They remind me what this life is all about. It keeps me in check. We have lost many and we should put our energy into enjoying them and what this life means instead of complaining

Remember Think of it this way; if you were going to fight in the war, leaving your mom and dad in the safety of their home, then you end up standing in the middle of the battlefield. Turning into one of the many dead bodies that are all over the place. Your life flashes before your eyes as you see a fast, terrifying bullet coming right at you, then time stops. And you’re dead as well. Only a day or two passes before your parents get the news that their son/daughter will not be coming home.…
