Senior Enlisted Advisor to the CJCS, Sergeant Major Troxell came and spoke directly with the four enlisted students. During his discussion he gave us a insight of his future initiative to engage each branch of service to start sending qualified E-7/E-8s to attend JPME-I or similar courses, as well as sending selective E-8/E-9s to JPME-II or similar course in the near future. More importantly he stressed that each branch of service should have plans to place graduating JCWS students in joint commands, or make plans on placing them in a command in the near future. Try to mirror the approach the officers are taking; this way the training isn't lost, nor joust a check in the box's. He closed with a powerful statement "courses such as this (JCWS), will allow our senior enlisted services members to become well-rounded and better prepared to advise our commanders in the near future." …show more content…
