Military Requirements as a Young Adult Hello their readers this is an article about whether or not we should go straight into the military out of high school. First I will be talking about if it is beneficial or if it is not beneficial for the high school graduates. After that I will be telling the opposing side of the story. Then, i will explain why they are not the best reasons on what we could do. First it is not beneficial to the young adults that will be just going into the world. I do not believe that this would be the best thing because, kids are just getting out of school to go live on their own and go to college. Having more people at the governments disposal is a great thing for them. They tell you to leave your state, your family for them to go to some random place to help people that need volunteer work, that’s just not important. I do understand that helping people is a good thing but is it really worth the time in your life that you could be at a full time college. The government needs soldiers, and getting people would increase the population of soldiers in the US. People that never thought they would like the military might start to like it. Lastly some of the flaws are we don’t need to be our governments slaves just because they can take advantage of us. People need to do what they want to do at that age so they can figure out how their life will work. The government can find another way to find people, because making young adults is not the right way. If people don’t want to go to college, there you go but some people don’t have a high intention span so they won’t get their life up and running in time. In conclusion people don’t want or need to spend one year of their life serving the military. People need to choose their own path way in their life not want the government wants. People need to start getting education higher than high school because we need more people in some important fields of study. So with that said the one-year military plan is no good for the United States of
