Military Nurse Research Paper

The career I plan on doing is a military nurse. This career interests me because it combines the two things I want to be when I grow up so I do not have to sacrifice one career for the other. I believe this career is a good suit for me, because I enjoy helping people and I believe I have the patients and that I am cool headed enough to try and deal with the stress. I want to make something of myself and become a person people look up to. I want to be known as a hero and to me those are two of the most heroic jobs you can have. The typical day for a military nurse will vary depending on if you are in a war zone or a V.A hospital. Working in war zone you are more likely to encounter life threatening injures than you would in a VA hospital or clinic (“Becoming”). In a war zone you will be setting up for tirage and managing it, also monitor the soldiers wounds (“Becoming”). You will not always be in a war zone, and when working at VA hospital you job will be more like a regular nurse, you will prepare the soldier sor surgeries and help provide post and preoperative care (“How”). Not only will you be providing the active duty soldier was medical care you will provide his or her family and non active duty veterans (“Becoming”). I still want to become a military nurse, because I feel like it is a good fit for me. I have learned a lot from this research, like what I will actually have to do and what I will get paid. I like knowing that if i go into this career I will be able to get a job fast as a military nurse, or even as just a soldier or nurse since the job growth is good and it is in high demand. I know that this certain career will have more downs than ups but I am prepared for it and I am excited to achieve my goal as a military
