Where decades ago, a person could get in their automobile and their contact with their work would be completely cut off, now employees literally cannot get away. Everything has speeded up with instant access that demands instant answers. Workers are forced to multi-task conversely, produce at a more efficient pace. This is a recipe for burn out. As the Readiness Non Commissioned Officer for my unit, I was responsible for the smooth, orderly running of the Company. A style that works in healthcare office will not necessarily work in the military. Understanding the environment in which you operate is essential for your success accordingly that of your employees. As stated earlier, I have modified my leadership style considering I no longer work in the military. Describing this transition is not easy; it has been like a roller coaster with ups and downs, terrifying conversely fun. The ability to adapt is essential to anyone changing careers.

Cannot stress it enough, computer literacy is key to success in any career field one endeavor. I can clearly remember some of my older soldiers that were not willing to learn how to operate computers, I told them it was like a train leaving the station, and you either get on board or get left behind.
