When signing up for the military you're not only fighting the battle overseas, you are fighting an even bigger battle when you get home. Such as medical and psychological injury. The United States government has to make taking caring of the military a priority by providing services for the veterans’ medical and psychological needs, their education so they can secure a job after the service, and additional medical help for the families of the veterans. Veterans have been developed with many types of psychological injuries such as Traumatic Brian Injury or TBI, which is a injury with a broad spectrum of symptoms and disabilities. Carviness joined the army in May of 1996 and has been on four tours, he was deployed to Afghanistan in a combat outpost called Honker Miracle, which is surrounded my mountains, “to the left of us was Pakistan and everyday was a fight for survival.
