During my bachelor’s degree I was a fulltime student, and fulltime Air Force member. From time to time I was faced with situations where my military life had to come first. Instead of dropping out of the class with no repercussions I wanted to further my education, and fight for our country at the same time. I’ve deployed three different times to war zones around the world, but I didn’t want that to stop me becoming a better me. As hard as I tried once or twice my grades slipped because of this. I knew the military wasn’t going to last forever, and slips like these could cause me to not be able to pursue my masters at the school I dreamed about.
