A month has now passed on the front lines of the U.S. Army. Dwelling in my compact tent, I think about you both daily. I miss you two so very much. I have been dying to talk to you about my adventures and misadventures, however there has been little time because of the drills. Corisa, I agree that foot patrol will decrease the crime rate that is occurring in the community. Nevertheless, with collaboration and communication, working together as one can help rebuild and uplift communities that have suffered distress and a great loss. Positive vibes while working in the community and positive reinforcement from officers can help increase the trust from the community. Once the community acknowledges the fact that not all officers are corrupt, some will embrace the feedback and support from those that care and move forward to implement respect and integrity.…

Brenda, Thank you for the excellent post. It was a pleasure to read and you bring up some points that are in the same lines that I was thinking. The lesson mentions conventional military going through generational changes, and you mentioned the word “evolved”. I would agree with your definition more, because war tactics have evolved from everyone standing on line and charging across the fields firing at each other to smarter tactics. Yes the advancement in technology and weaponry helped change this, but I also think our military leaders evolved in their strategic thinking.…
