I do not think I necessarily learned anything knew about from the video clip and the gender communication page. When I got married while I was in the Marine Corps, I became very aware of the different communication styles and difference in communication within genders. While I was in the military, I often had issues with communicating with my wife because of how immersed I was with very masculine communication style. I always found myself getting frustrated with not getting a direct answer from my wife or having to have a half hour conversation just to reach a yes or no answer.
