Careers vary regarding demands and other conditions to ensure the success of a career. Some jobs are more demanding than others hence elevate the stress of professionals involved in it. According to research, jobs that are most stressful usually, involve the mind and demand more than a person can handle. Most stressful careers are in law enforcement agencies such as the military and police. Listed below are the most stressful jobs:
Firefighter
Firefighting seems to be the most stressful job. The career is both physically and emotionally demanding as a firefighter has to deal with fighting the fire and also do evacuation and emergency responses. Putting your life in the line of fire is not only dangerous but emotionally draining. Firefighters have to have a strong sense of courage and determination as fighting fire is the most daunting task ever.

Most people consider the job as most lucrative but to the pilots themselves, the career is demanding. Pilots are responsible for thousands of lives they transport each day. Piloting job is very intensive with regular training and regular health checkups to ensure a clean bill of health. Though stressful, a pilot career is also rewarding with a desirable annual salary and other allowances.
Police Officers
A job as a police officer can be very demanding as it requires a high level of discipline and quick response at any time of the day. Police officers work at odd hours of the night to ensure guaranteed security for citizens. The job is not only demanding but risky as it involves interaction with criminals that can put your life at risk.
Actor
Most people think that actors are the happiest people, but that is wrong. They have their share of stressful situations. From perfecting the work of art beating auditions, it makes the career more demanding than a regular job. Actors can work late into the night to beat the deadlines.
