When I was in high school I never thought or even considered going to college. At the time, joining the military was the only thing that I wanted to do and saw myself doing. I was young at the time, and I didn't really know what it was exactly that I really wanted in life. I spoke to a counselor and mapped out what it was that I was interested in, and then at the start of my senior year I enlisted in the army. I left for basic combat training about two weeks after I graduated from high school, where I successfully finished in the ten weeks that I was there. after that I left for advanced individual training where I was able to learn the fundamentals of the job that I signed up for. After graduating from that I went onward to my first assignment
