Elizabeth Gilbert gave her definition of success by four definitions, but within her definitions was the word job. She believed that a job was solely based on money, its only purpose was money no happiness was involved. I found that Mike Row had the most credible and believable definition of success due to his many different perspectives on success itself and not just the money aspect of success but also the happiness. Gilbert focused too much on money and I found her limitations of knowledge were to extreme, Gladwell talked just about practice makes perfect and how it takes a certain amount of time to achieve something which back in his time I believe to be credible but now in this new generation it lacks a sense of what it’s like to be in a job now. Although In any definition of success it is based on your values and background if Gilbert wanted the wealth aspect and Rowe wanted the happiness aspect then that is success to that individual
