In this Project Based Learning Unit, students will be discovering and researching the concepts of Migration, the contribution of famous American immigrants have made to our society, Immigrants, Chronological Thinking, Historical Comprehension, Analysis and Interpretation, Research, and Surveying. Students are expected to learn about three influential American immigrants (Andrew Carnegie, Albert Einstein, and William Penn) and tell of their contributions to American society, as well as how their immigration assisted them in making such contributions. Students will also learn to put major migrant patterns into chronological order using a timeline. Students will learn these concepts by interviewing an expert from Kentucky Refugee Ministries
