The Kashmiri migrants were forced to leave their ancestral property and settle down as refugees in different refugee camps of Jammu district. This resulted not only in the losses of their huge properties, but also loss in their physical and mental health too. Some Kashmiri migrants suffered from psychiatric morbidity in a camp (Banal and Thappa, 2010). Some researches show the prevalence of dementia in the migration camp (Sunil and Sushil, 2008). So this study is done to show the effect of migration on mental health of Kashmiri migrants and the different expressions of Kashmiri migrants towards it. It will help us in finding different psychosocial factors associated with mental health of Kashmiri migrants. Different variables like anxiety, depression, loss of emotional ties, general positive effect, emotional ties and life satisfaction will be calculated. This research will help us in comparing pshycho-social support system during the migration with that of their condition right now.
