Migraine Meaning

“Migraine” is a song that many fans of Twenty One Pilots love. It’s a song about how things are wrong in the world, and how we can go through these things together. But not only is it about how things are wrong in the world as a whole, it’s about the battles fought in our own minds and within ourselves.

The premise of the entire song is about a metaphorical migraine, the migraine being the message that something is wrong in the world. A migraine in itself is your body sending a message that something is wrong. The lyric “Sometimes death seems better than the migraine in my head; Let it be said what the headache represents; It's me defending in suspense; It's me suspended in a defenseless test,” helps to better explain how the migraine is bigger than just the pain and more a battle, or a test. …show more content…
