Have you ever heard of the USS Missouri? Well if not let me grab your attention in this paragraph. The Missouri is one of the biggest battleships ever made in the U.S. The Missouri was part of many battles and fought for many years. There are multiple tours you can take on the Missouri. I personally think everyone should visit the Missouri because its historical significance and it was in a movie. So if you want to learn more read the rest of my paper. The “Mighty Mo” is considered one of the biggest battleships ever, hence the name “Mighty Mo”. With a span of over 887 feet. The beam is the biggest on any battleship at 108 feet and 2 inches. It weighs over 40,800 tons. The Missouri is newest battleship from its time. The Mo also has 49*20 cannons. This battleship was one of the greatest manufactured pieces. The USS Missouri has fought in many battles. The first battle was World War II and helped end that war. Also it seized ships in the Gulf of Mexico during The War in The Gulf. This ship was the last ship commissioned for the US. The Missouri was also part of the Korean War and took down many ships. The Missouri is also known as the BB-63 to the Men who served on this “beast” of a ship as they called it. Let me try to persuade you. this ship was one of the biggest helps in World War II and help seize many ships in The War in The Gulf. Also in 2012 this ship was in the Movie Battleship starring taylor Kitsch so that could be another reason you might want to see it. Also she is in the beautiful state of Hawaii so you could take a vacation down there and stop by and she the battleship. One last thing is that many veterans served on this ship and most are still alive and also you can join a team to help keep the USS Missouri in good
