Also the room was nice and clean and very organized. Also the brightness in the classroom set the classroom to be a learning environment. The room focuses on the students. Looking around the room it is visible that one can see the students work around the classroom. In the classroom there, was a bulletin board that said “Parking Lot of Ideas”, I believe that this board helps motivate the students. This helps motivate the students for the reason that if they are stuck on something they can walk over to the bulletin board look at the post its for some ideas. From my perspective the room does not like distracting. It looks like a nice suitable classroom for 5th and 6th graders. It is décor age appropriate for 5th and 6th graders there are positive signs around the classroom, for example, there is a sign that says Be Kind Be Honest to one another. It is a former science room, and has two doors: one that opens to the outside faculty parking lot, and another is the main entrance that students use to enter the classroom from A Hall. This classroom is much larger than some of the other classrooms in the building, probably because it used to have science laboratory capabilities. The classroom is inviting, with a Breakfast at Tiffany’s poster and quote lining one wall, and every day, an inspirational quote that illuminates her smart board that helps inspire students before the start of class. In addition, there is a teacher’s desk at both the front and back ends of the room, and the room is built to house about 30…

My child observation and classroom observation took place at the Mt. San Jacinto Child Development and Education center in the preschool/pre-k (ages 36 months to 54 months) program room. This classroom has 2 teachers and 15 children in attendance during my observation. My study child is a male student age 4 who for this assignment I will refer to as C. The classroom environment as a whole can handle the children within the program, however I will provide a better picture of the entire room to have a clear picture for reflection. As a child walking into this classroom you feel a sense of warmth of both the environment and also from the teacher as she greats all her children individually.…
