Midwives (delivering babies) She rushes into the room as the lady was crying for help because of the sharp pains he was outside crying he didn’t know why his wife was bleeding. The doctor calls all midwives in the room the pregnancy was a complicated one they where going left and right trying to figure out what was wrong with the lady as she is lying in pain crying really loud .Everything calmed down for a few minutes the doctor calls all midwives into another room .Heartbroken he says “it’s her or the baby “ it was silent in the room the doctor calls in the man tells him “ we are going to try to do our best it’s ether your wife or the baby “ heartbroken he waits crying praying both his …show more content…
CNM programs are graduate level programs that are only a Bachelor’s degree. CNM programs grant a master’s or graduate degree. They take a minimum of 24 months to complete. Midwifery is nationally regulated all Midwifes, whether or not they are nurses, must be certified. Midwives have a lot of daily responsibility like diagnosing treating and managing care of pregnant women and new mothers. Delivering babies and attending to pregnancy related issues ,(Oakes, Elizabeth.) Also they go to pregnant women’s houses so the women can give birth in their own house Midwives just help with delivering babies and making sure the pregnant women are healthy and the baby. Once you become a midwife your job is to be precautious with everything you are doing you don’t want to hurt the mom or baby you got to check their blood to see if they are sick if any type of medication you give her will be bad for her or for the baby , also you need to be fast incase something happens you won't just panic and stay still you need to react quick.
