Midterm Test

On the midterm test, covering chapters 1 - 6, I earned a score of 88/100, which is a B. Part of the reason I received this grade is how I prepared for this test. My main concern was learning the vocabulary I expected to see on the test. I focused on this because I knew it made up a majority of the test, 80% to be exact. To study for the vocab, I created an online study guide with the terms and definitions on the website, quizlet. I studied this set for a couple days till I became very confident in my abilities to recognize and define the 40+ terms. Because I spent a majority of my time doing this, I completely overlooked the short answer portions. As nuclear families became more common, people moved away from home into suburbs for their new, smaller families. This meant longer commutes to work each day and long, lonely days for women at home.
