One example where you can argue that it's possible to control someone's actions is when Oberon wanted to take the Indian boy from Titania. Oberon had some kind of control over Titania because he was able to take the Indian boy. The reason that Oberon was able to take control over her was because he was able to manipulate her by putting a magic potion on her eyelids and making her fall in love with Bottom (4.1,90)And now I have the boy I will undo This imperfection of her eyes’’. Although people may think using a potion on someone is taking control some may argue that the characters are actually not taking control because when you put a magic potion on someone your not changing their mind forever, because when the spell wears off there still going to have the same opinion.
