Also when he was sitting down in his chair and stabbed himself while having a discussion with his class. Long shot occurred when Mr. Hilltop was rolled into the class room lying down. This is a game that is completely possible to do and could be entertaining if the graphics and gameplay are done right. Basically, you start at a friend's house or, perhaps even better, at a masque ball, with eerie masks and victorian-like atmosphere or 1920's style. There are at least 12 or so people, including men and women. The game starts with a cutscene in which they're sitting at the table, having some kind of "truth or dare" game, in which they ask each other questions that get more personal and more disturbing and they have to answer honestly.…

    Analyzing S Aimer's Play

The staging of the play S’Aimer was admirable due to its the performance of the actor. All through the hour and forty five minute play, there was only one actor on stage, Thomas Gionet-Lavigne, who portrayed a young man obsessed with Hector de Saint-Denys-Garneau who struggled with loving himself and with the idea of love in general . Since the actor was alone for the whole play and he seemed to be talking to a loved one most of the time, the whole play could be considered as a monologue. He narrated his whole adventure from the moment he came home and saw that his girlfriend had left to the moment where he is describing everything that happened since that moment to his loved one. At least, that is what the audience was lead to think because of the way he addressed the invisible character he is talking to/his audience: when he was talking about the woman who left him, he always talked in the French second person singular ,“tu” (you), saying things such as “Quand t’es partie...”…

Editing Order of shots - In this scene the order of the shots mainly shows a large amount of distress and panic. This is because in the few shots where the character notices the vault is opening, we see him hearing and realising something is wrong with the vault. The next shot then shows the computer screen with the warning alarm notifying that the vault is opening after this we return to the character as he spills his tea all over him in shock. These shots are also known as shot-reverse-shot, which helps the audience to distinguish what the character is looking at and what’s causing them to be distressed. In this case finding out that the vault is being opened, something is clearly going wrong and so panic begins to set in.…

Gone Home is a narrative exploration game by the company Fullbright that stars Kaitlin Greenbriar returning to her family home after being overseas. Gone Home is often questioned on the complexity of its game play, and is often thought to be more of an interactive story, however it does fulfill the requirements of a game and I will be discussing various game play mechanics in Gone Home such as the different objects and their attributes, rules for game play and the overall design that help to support the narrative, as well as how all of this is used to create an effective story and why this is the best medium for such a story. With the use of sound, the meaning of this theme is further achieved, and the audience questions the “realism” of the story. As the story develops in this film, it becomes obvious to the audience that Truman is on a 24/7 reality TV show.…
