Many teenagers spend around eight hours, five days a week at school. This is necessary because school educates and prepares students for life. To do this, most schools require everyone in an age group to take the same core classes. For many students that can seem boring or difficult, but most people agree that it is necessary because many students would not be well rounded if given free reign to choose their classes. On the other hand, this one-size-fits-all method does not allow specialization or any extra preparation for a specific career. A balance between the two would be ideal.
