High school is a big deal especially freshman year, but before I can prepare myself for High school year I have to first take a moment to reflect on my middle school year. As a sixth grader it was hard for me trying to adjust to 7 classes and receiving good grades. The second quarter of my sixth grade year was a little bit better because I got the hang of 7 classes but there were areas I still struggled on like in avid I thought that it was the hardest class to pass because there was many things that had to done like maintaining a good binder and make sure that summaries and Costa level questions are completed. There were always times when I was confused about things but that is why I always brought them to our Trf sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The second semester of my 8h grade year I had no distractions there was no such thing as procrastination in my book anything I got confused on was always solved because of Trf sessions. Second semester I volunteered a lot and managed my time wisely. I perfected my time managing and done well with writing in my agenda it showed on report card even though I could have done a little bit better. The third semester of 8th grade was one of my falling points the procrastination caught me like a fatal disease and stuck on to me. I was and still am very disappointed in the grades I received my third semester. The end of my third semester I made a goal to never give up to procrastination as much as I did third

At the time of my attendance at IUPUI my overall poor study habits, getting to class in a timely manner, and procrastination were primary factors that resulted in my failure at IUPUI. When transferring from Ivy Tech in Lawrence to IUPUI I was not used to using the busing system at all so I could not get to class in the time that I needed to. It wasn’t until later in the semester that I actually was able to have slight timing in my schedule and the busing system.
