That was my response when I found out that we were moving. The worst thing was that I was entering 6th grade, so middle school.
“What am I supposed to do without Mia,Arya,Vicky,Sydney and Zoya?” I said screaming. “Well you can make new friends over at Colorado.” Mom mumbled.
“COLORADO! You never said anything about moving across the country” I screamed.

Except one girl her name was Sam.

Sam was a nice girl. First she told me to try not to hang out with Bree and her friends they were the mean girls of the school. Bree and her friends were mean to me but Sam would always defend me. Ever since that day Sam and I were best friends. One day she was sick, so she stayed home. That day Bree and her friends came up to me and started pushing me around. One day I heard something I was not supposed to hear.

Brees locker is the row next to mine. I went up to my locker to get my stuff for my next class which is creative communication. This personal narrative is going to be about the first day of Middle School and my experiences as a 6th grader. It is going to go after my emotions and other descriptive details of the first day. I still remember how the seat belt felt tightening across my chest as the car got closer to the Middle School. During that time I knew nothing about being in a big school because the biggest school i've been in was yankee ridge. (Which is really small).…

Schools had off because of Martin Luther King Day, so Emily and Melissa had plans to go to Laura’s house; nothing special, just to hang with some friends, play some ping pong, eat, maybe even watch a movie. As Emily and Melissa were about to venture to Miramar, they first had to say their goodbyes to their parents, as they always did before leaving. Their mom sat on the couch, like always, in her fluffy, pink, penguin pajama-pants and white tank-top. “Bye mom going to Laura’s love you”, Emily enthusiastically and quickly proclaimed, almost as if sarcastically and speaking in a runoff statement. Emily gave a quick kiss on the cheek to both her mother and father and raced out the door to Alivia’s…

I had decided ahead of time the best thing I could do is get to the school early so I could navigate to my first hour with ease. Whoever started telling people to wish upon stars must like to see the world burn, because I did not arrive anywhere close to being considered early. I ended up walking through the threshold of my first hour class just as the ringing bells resounded throughout the halls. As it turns out, I was given a chemistry test, discovered that I was trapped in a freshman class, and was called down into the media center to get my photo ID while the rest of my fourth hour class was dismissed for lunch, causing me to miss lunch. And despite all of those negative events impacting my first day, I did not think the end results of my first day were bad at…

In the seventh grade, I faced a large transition in life. The previous year I had experienced middle school for the first time, but I would make that entrance again. I moved from Texas to North Dakota, where seventh grade was the first year of middle school. I took on those same fears and hopes that I had faced before, but in an unfamiliar place where I had no one except for family to give me support. I tried a lot of new things that year, mainly wrestling.…
