Middle School Memories

Back on those old days, I have had plenty of good memories, as well as just as many bad ones, in middle school and high school. In middle school, my friends and I were always hanging around together. As a group, we always ate lunch, played at recess, stayed after school. We gathered at one spot every day. It was a common place for the “ FOB” as they called us. We just came to America for a few years and spoke little English. We all knew which groups would be gathering at school. It had an invisible label that we would not invade others’ space.
In high school, each of the halls was for each group of students without saying aloud. Everyone knew which groups would be at which hall. During lunch time, we would hang around in the hall. Even

The Crucible was a play written by Arthur Miller about the Salem Witch trials that took place in 1692. Throughout the play, there were many false accusations of witchcraft, most of which were driven by vengeance. The English III class was told to relate the events that occurred in the play to a current issue society faces. There are many scenarios that pertain to false accusations, some of which happen at Bellevue High School. In the modern society, it is possible to relate these false accusations to teenagers’ attacks on their own peers.…

I am currently enjoying my senior year here at California High School. Although I consider many of my classes to be easy here, the weight of all of this year's homework is already being felt. It is my firm belief that for the sake of our students, a study hall is needed. More than 70% of students in our school are involved in extracurricular activities. I am currently involved in Boy Scouts, band, drumline, youth group, spanish club, math team, academic team, FBLA and also have a part-time job as a bagboy at Cal’s Thriftway to provide the money to save up for college and drive to school to go to all of the club meetings and practices.…

If anyone ever asked me what my favorite memory from high school was, it would most likely be related to twirling a flag in my school’s flagline. Even though the band members constantly denied us from actually being in the band, I always thought we made a great addition to the marching band and added a little extra spunk to it! I was on flagline throughout all my four years in high school. In fact, I was a natural at twirling and I was the only freshman who made the line my first year! I was a leader to my fellow twirlers and then became the captain during my senior year.…

This personal narrative is going to be about the first day of Middle School and my experiences as a 6th grader. It is going to go after my emotions and other descriptive details of the first day. I still remember how the seat belt felt tightening across my chest as the car got closer to the Middle School. During that time I knew nothing about being in a big school because the biggest school i've been in was yankee ridge. (Which is really small).…

Senior Trip to Washington D.C. For my school, the senior class gets together and travels to Washington D.C. for three days. We left early Wednesday morning and rode in a charter bus down to D.C. and as soon as we get to there we start touring. We would tour the whole first day then go to a fancy restaurant that night. The next two days were, wake up, go to breakfast, then tour all day.…

To combat this I sort of goofed off and made just likes I stated earlier. However, this all changed when I went to Gilbert Christian. I was new to the school and I didn’t know anyone at the school at all. Everybody sort of already knew each other due to the fact that they went to the middle school together or through church.…

As an ignorant young adult, I wasn’t very outgoing; I was always the shy student, the one who always got bullied and I wouldn’t really talk to anyone. When I turned fourteen, my parents informed me I was to attend confirmation classes. I wasn’t exactly enthused at the new that I would attend it for two years. To add to these, wonderful news; my older brother was going with me too. Goody.…

Introduction On March 3, 2016, I attended the Alcoholics Anonymous group. The reason I made the decision to observe this particular group is simply because my dad is an alcoholic. I wanted to observe this group for him because I’m almost certain that he wouldn’t attend a group that’s so open to their common problems. I wanted to experience others testimonies to know that my dad isn’t the only one struggling with this problem.…

The teacher made me introduce myself and told me to sit down. I felt like I was a deer being stared down by a bunch of hungry beasts. The other students already had cliques established, and no one seemed to jump out of the social construct to say hi. The class proceeded as a normal class would, with lecture followed by questions. The bell rang for lunch time, the students ushered out, and into the cafeteria like wild animals.…

In my senior year I made many decisions, some I instantly regretted, others I’ve come around to. But I also made choice that I could never regret or wished I could turn back on. In my senior year I signed up for AP Art Studio. I first learned about the class from an art teacher, I had taken a few classes to fill my schedule and art had always been a hobby I enjoyed. I talked about the class with a friend I had known since freshman year, she had taken the class in her junior year and insisted that I sign up for it.…

My summer memories consist of being out of school, running in the backyard while my mom is barbecuing, splashing through the sprinkler, and looking around counting all the bees on my mom 's roses. Those are memories I will always have and hold close to my heart, especially now when bees are on their way to one day becoming extinct. It saddens me to think that one day my children or greatgrand children will not be able to link bees with their summer memories. Can you imagine walking into your local grocery store and not seeing your favorite fruits or vegetables? We are on our way to this scenario, but have you ever asked yourself why?…

How do you remember your childhood friends? Whenever I think of my childhood friends, I remember all the amazing memories we had; being in control of our neighborhood, making our own treehouse, killing a few snakes, rolling a wagon around like we were cool, and just having the time of our lives. We did not care what people thought of us and we all encouraged one another to be ourselves, not like one another. Maybe we did not say that, but it was an unspoken thing; we were not just those friends that had fun together, we were there for one another during the hard times too. We would not give “advice” but we would say, “It is going to be okay”, and go get ice cream from the ice cream truck.…
