Getting hurt and having to sit out for the rest of the basketball season really did hurt me. I remember when I got home and my mom told me what the doctor said about my MRI, I ran to my room and cried for hours. I never thought that I would have to have surgery. I tried to stay strong, when I told coach I thought I let the whole entire team down. But on January 26, 2015 at 6:00 a.m I was showed up to the surgery place with a brave face, and got ready for surgery. I was not as scared as I thought as I going to be. I was actually relaxed because I was just thinking positive, like after my surgery and after all the therapy I would be able to play again and I would be back as new! I think the first couple of weeks were pretty rough, because of how much school I missed and with the pain and therapy, I kind of was under a lot pressure on trying to finish my assignments and everything. But once again on January 26, 2016 I had surgery on my other knee! I could not just have one knee with scars! So now both of my knees have battle scars. On my left knee I tore my ACL and meniscus just like the other but on my right one I tore both of my meniscuses and only one on my left. So the second time around I kind of already knew what the routine would be so I just went with the flow. I really don’t have any bad memories from middle school, nothing really major I might
