Marylin and Kate find that boys can be as complicated as friendship. Marilyn knows that, as a middle school cheerleader, she has certain rules. She has to smile while she is walking down the hallway, being friends with the right people, and keeping here manicure in the most perfect shape. But, Marilyn is surprised to learn there are also rules about who she is allowed to like- and Benjamin, the student body president, is really unacceptable for her reputation. But, maybe there is a way to convince the cheerleaders that her interest in Benjamin is not so bad after all. Maybe for the cheerleaders sake, she will pretend that she is using him to get new cheerleading uniforms for the cheerleading squad. Kate, of course, finds this hilarious. She
