Middle School Challenges

Decent Essays
The challenge that I faced in the past year is staying out of trouble in Middle school. I'm still getting into trouble every here and there but i'm doing my best to stay out of trouble. It is hard to stay out of trouble because I am not perfect and I don't think before I do things i just do it and then after I do it I think of the consequences and realize that they are not good at all. In school I hang out with my friends they try to keep me out of trouble and help me make changes in life to stay out of trouble. I hang out with them because they believe that I can help them stop doing bad things but when they help me I still end up getting into trouble cause I don't think before I do. We are young and they have a lot of time so that they can still help me change and make better decisions because we are only in 6th grade and have 6 more years to change. I am trying my best staying out of trouble now because I am on my last warning. Now if I see anything bad happening I tell a teacher so I don't get involved in it and get in trouble. I am challenging with overcoming this responsibility because I am trying to make sure I don't get into any trouble but I am also trying to stay in class so I don't get behind in class and so I can set an example for other kids. …show more content…

I hope you have been having a good school year and a nice holiday break! I have some exciting news. I'm applying for the Coolidge Scholarship which is a scholarship that covers the costs of all four years of undergraduate education for students who are crazy overqualified in everything. I'm not one of them unfortunately, but there are a bunch of smaller awards attached to the scholarship that I am aiming for, including the awards/titles "Coolidge Senator" and "Coolidge Finalist" for good candidates but not the ultimate winners. This is a fantastic opportunity for me as I could really use the scholarship, this would look great for college, and the opportunity itself is great; if I place in any capacity I get a cool free trip down to Washington,…
