What do you believe will be the major challenges in teaching middle school?
I think some of the biggest challenges of teaching middle school would be the changes the students are going through and the state requirements to to teach middle school. In middle school the students are changing physically and emotionally. The students are usually going through a hormonal changes. The students start to think they know what is best for them. At this age bullying seems to accelerate. Bullying and not catching it is a very scary thought. I would not like to feel like I am partially responsible for the child being bullied. Another major challenge for middle school is trying to get certified in the state of Missouri. Missouri has changed the certification
