Mid-year writing assessment Prompt
Should they do interaction off campus to protect them from dangers such as bullying, drug use, violence and suicide? I think they should do interaction off campus to protect students. I think they should because especially in our generation student’s are easy to be pure pressured in doing drugs and they follow people like say someone bullies someone of course someone else is gonna follow them and bully too because they think it’s cool and funny. Do you know how many lives could be saved because people get bullied and someone could change that just by getting a hold of the person that is being bullied or the person that is doing the bullying. Bullied victims are 7 to 9 per cent more likely to consider suicide according to a study by Yale

It doesn’t catch any teacher’s eyes unless another student tells them but by the time another student tells them it’ll be too late.Students are to busy reposting people get cyberbullied, watching someone get cyberbullied or even being the bully behind the screen to notice that what they’re doing is wrong until it’s too late and someone tries to harm their self or even somebody else. Middle school and high school is one of the hardest things to fit in with so people just long with what other people do even if they have to get pure pressured.People pure pressure people to do all kind of things the popular thing that people pure pressure other people to do is drugs and drink alcohol.People do it and they don’t think about the out comes first.Drugs can control you from doing what you want because when you’re on drugs you’re not yourself.Drugs and alcohol can slowly kill you.The most dumbest thing people do is post it on social media and get in a lot of

Kathy Shaidle’s article “In Defense of Bullying” states that bullying is good on the development of youth to strive for more.
