Mid-Point Meeting Reflection

After the mid-point meeting presentation, I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of critics we received from our client during our mid-point meeting presentation. However, my team was positive enough, and each was convinced that having more feedbacks are actually good as we can utilize it to our advantage and strengthen our recommendation further. All feedbacks we received from GrabGreen, both Michael and Patricia, as well as prof. Salas were noted during the “Question and Answer” session and taken into account for in our group meeting that we had conducted on Wednesday (16 November). We reviewed the notes together, and brainstormed to find a solid recommendation that we hope our client would be pleased. When we finalized our recommendation,

It provides productive critique, to help us develop past performance and is used to evidently demonstrate the obligatory behaviour and the corporation’s overall objectives (Baker 2010). The circular model of feedback advises that if it is used appropriately it can correct performance, apprise employees of any changes, remuneration and commend personnel and lead to improved affairs (Eunson 2014). 3.2 Application and benefits of Feedback as a Business Analyst In the setting of a Business Analyst, if the customer’s feedback is mistreated when attending customer issues or in test stages of software solutions or business methods it will detriment the ability to either solve the issue or allow the customer to accept new systems or methods (Bouwman 2005).…

Purpose The purpose of getting client feedback was to determine the specific features of each mockup most preferred by the client, Ally Financial. Three Ally Financial representatives were present, and we asked each to rank the mockups in turn, based on four different criteria. The criteria were: (1) visibility of cars while the device is deployed and not deployed, (2) the aesthetic appeal of the device, (3) feasibility of deployment, and (4) willingness of dealerships to install or use the device. I had the opportunity of being able to attend and observe The Serenity Seekers, an open Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) twelve step meeting. Upon arrival, I received a warm welcome by many different group members. They introduced themselves to me and one of the members even brought me pamphlets that provided me with information regarding what their A.A. program entailed. At first, I was apprehensive about going to an A.A. meeting; however, the members were all accepting of my presence, which made me feel comfortable. By accepting me, the members were displaying cohesiveness, the primary therapeutic factor allowing A.A. members to feel a sense of belonging, acceptance, and validation amongst the group.…

Collaborative Committee Meeting Observation It is necessary to mention that it takes a team spirit to run a health care organization. Therefore, it is imperative for all members of a committee, even if they are part of medical personnel, the management, or the representatives, to grasp the concept of shared governance and the proponents that compromise an efficient governance approach (Choi & Robertson, 2014). Furthermore, each healthcare organization work with interdisciplinary crews like the Infection Control Committee (ICC) and the Safety Committee to reduce employee and patient risk. Even though, the patients may not broadly know the existences of any of these committees. Fortunately, the ICC plays an essential component in every patient…

I was always aware of how court rooms worked and how judges listened to defenders and made decisions shortly after, therefore, I had assumed that a board of supervisors meeting worked the same way. Although, when I attended the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors, it surprised me how they both were. The meeting started out with a Christian prayer from a reverend and then proceeded with the pledge of allegiance. It shocked me because normally everyone always keeps church separate from the courts and I had considered the board of supervisors a court, so I did not expect something that open. When Chairman Jones started the board meeting by, asking the board members if they had any conflicts of interest, it stuck out the most to show their…

I attended a meeting with the Latino Medical student Association on the topic of DACA and how it can affect medical school hopefuls. My friend who is a member of the organization informed me about the meeting and with what was going on in the news regarding the future of DACA and its recipients I thought it would be important to go. l learned that they are very big on community and connecting their members with different opportunities as well as fostering a comfortable environment that allows their members to freely speak about important topics. Beers and her team make a conscious effort to be aware of the pressure they place on their clients. Pushing too hard or too much can often make clients feel uneasy and burdened, leading to a potential end to the business relationship. Furthermore, in order to improve on the client retention rate, we recommend the implementation of complaint-resolution policies as guidelines to correct customer issues, rather than a rigid set of rules. Allowing O&M employees the freedom to make judgment calls as is necessary in order to solve a customer problem instead of having to follow an unyielding rule can aid in maintaining a positive and helpful client/employee relationship, leading to an even greater bottom…

According to Boyles (2004), “teachers talk with students to monitor their progress as well as to set goals and help them solve problems” (p.75). Teachers should conduct writing conferences in order to assess and evaluate the writing progress of their students. The purpose of writing conferences is finding the strengths and weaknesses of their writing to improve and develop the skills the student already has. Depending on the students writing the teacher facilitates interventions to improve the students writing skills. Teachers should frequently plan writing conferences to check-in on their students and the progress they have made.…

Another point I highlighted at the managers meeting was that I felt complaints should be risk rated. Risk rating all complaints will help identify trends and help to promote responsive actions to ensure any underlying causes are dealt with immediately. I think the company should ensure that all complaints are reviewed at the highest level of the organisation to identify learning opportunities for those departments directly involved in the complaint and the organisation as a whole. The complaints procedure in place is effective because it is client focused, makes us open and accountable, it ensures we act fairly and proportionately, it ensures we put things right and are seen to do so and it means we are continuously seeking to improve upon the service we deliver.…

When I delivered the teaching session, the experience was an overall success with students showing a clear interest and engaging in the lesson (Table 1, question 10, mean 4.3). The teaching began with a clear introduction to the key learning points for the whole session (Table 1, question 5, mean 4.3), which allowed the students to understand what the session was going to entail. This was beneficial to those who needed to see the big picture to see how topics fit together[1]. I further explained that the session will be split into three sections and explained that certain learning outcomes will be covered in each section. Student feedback stated that there was “enthusiastic teaching in appropriate sized teaching bites.”…
