The roughest years of your life, the teenage years. It’s the real mid-life crisis! We are physically and mentally unstable, and the emotions are on another level. Not only this, but physically we are going through changes, we are surrounded by other judgmental teens, and honestly probably trying everything not to cry right now. Okay, that was a little dramatic, but still you get the point. Besides, teens are probably the most dramatic people you’ll EVER meet. To start with, the number one priority to us, is to fit in with who we think will make us look good. We will do anything to accomplish this goal. I mean ANYTHING. It’s hard to fit in because of all the other judgmental teens. You think to fit in you have to look and be just like them, too. Which is not the case! That is keeping you away from being YOU! Fitting in might seem like a big deal, but is it that big of a deal to change you from being you? …show more content…
It hurts, it’s ugly, it looks like a mountain, it’s acne. Several of us teens struggle with acne, and it is one of the biggest reasons we struggle with self-confidence. It absolutely is the worst!! How do you expect me to go make friends when I have a mountain on my face? Oh, and that face wash you used? Yeah, it does not work, or even better, makes you break out even more. Nothing can defeat teen acne. Don't get down about it though, it will go away one day and you'll have that clear, glowing, and baby smooth

    Cara, I’d have to agree with you about how sad it is that young girls feel the need to conform for society even though their family members are trying to teach them to be themselves. I think that social media sites, tabloids and other popular media sites have taught young adolescent girls that if they look, dress, and act a certain way (and even weigh a certain amount) then they will be accepted. So, they spend more of their time trying to conform and less time trying to find their sense of self.
