70 minutes has passed and the score was 1-1 in the final of the Mid Atlantic Cup. My team Fc York was playing Baltimore Bays. The first goal came from them in the closing minutes before half time. At half time coach laid into us, "you guys are playing you don't even want to be here." He told us that we worked too hard in the previous game, where we played very hard and well to lose in the final. We came out at half time and dominated for the rest of the game. We just couldn't score, we had tons of opportunities but we couldn't convert any of out chances. With only 5 minutes I played Zach a perfect through ball. He took it to the end line, he was one on one with the keeper. The keeper did a great job of closing down the angle. It looked like he didn't have an angle to shoot! Out of no were Casey came running down the field yelling, "Ball! Ball! Ball!" Zach passed the ball across the 6 yard box and Casey tapped it in. Once again the opposition scored quickly, we only had 15 minutes to tie or win the game. Shortly after a ball was played in to the box, I was trying to block the cross. I blocked it with my chest but the referee called a hand ball. I was livid. I started to protest to the referee but he didn't want to listen. I thought I had just lost the game for the team.
