I am taking a gap year between the end of my undergraduate studies and the beginning of medical school. Currently, I am working as a medical scribe for surgeons with Nevada Professional Scribes. I plan on gaining experience as a medical scribe in a hospital setting with Superior Emergency Physicians. I will also be continuing my passion of volunteer work as a scribe at Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada and as the Chair of the Humanitarian Committee of Alpha Epsilon Delta where I not only partake in community service myself, but also organize and lead community service events for all members of AED.
