I forgot to make a note of when I started the task and had a mini panic about my timing but soon over came this and took a deep breath and re composed myself. I did initially have the artist bio task earlier in my lesson plan but changed it to after I’d been through the section about what to include in your artist bio as wanted my learners to have a good idea of content and how to spark thoughts for the bio before they attempted to do one. Maybe I could have given the artist sheet to them, then gone through it with the learners doing an example filling in one with them or I could have given it to them before hand and discussed it and filled it in as we progressed. It may have saved me time as well for extra activities, discussion or questions. I was thrown by a couple of questions from the learners but I established what I was requiring fairly quickly with them and once we got going my learners enjoyed the task especially Jess as she invented her self as an artist “Jess Cat” and seemed pleased with herself and the results.
I gave good feedback and encouragement to my learners, and came across friendly and in a pleasant manor. My delivery voice was nice and clear and I also noticed that something startled Vietske and picked up on her body language and asked her if she was ok and understood what I was talking
