Michigan Gun Owners Case Study

Michigan Gun Owners and Ann Arbor Public Schools are set to meet in court. A lawsuit was filed against this school for violating Michigan laws. Laws violated included, allowing students to carry firearms on school property along with other kinds of weapons such as knives. Ann Arbor Public Schools will ask the judge to dismiss the case. William J. Blaha filed that school policies do not violate state law. While on contending side, the Michigan Gun Owners attorney Jim Makowski is confident he will prevail.
State law only prevents people from carrying concealed firearms on school property. Although, citizens with concealed pistol licenses are an exception to the rule. A father in Clio Michigan was given permission to openly carry his
