On Michelle’s computer, documentation was retrieved that connected the lovers conspiring to murder Marty. Ads along with emails composed by Michelle revealed she was unfaithful to Marty numerous times with many men. This also helped to build a negative character profile of Michelle to assist the prosecution. In an appeal, it stated that 21,000 computer documents were obtained, and 500 of those were submitted as exhibits for trial. John concocted an elaborate tale of a gun being stolen from his vehicle, but that was determined to be a false account.
