Michelle Obama Research Paper

Michelle Obama once said “One of the lessons that I grew up with was to always stay true to yourself and never let what somebody else says distract you from your goals. And so when I hear about negative and false attacks, I really don't invest any energy in them, because I know who I am.” In this day in age, it is important to recognize not only those leaders who speak about change, but those who follow through with it. Michelle Obama is an extraordinary example. Michelle Obama has inspired and influenced me because through her I understand that any goals I set forth are attainable with hard work and dedication. Michelle has four main initiatives that she balances, on top of being a mom, a lawyer, and the wife of Barrack Obama. She focuses on helping people live healthier lives, supporting service members and their families, inspiring the youth to get higher educations, and giving girls who need it, help in reaching their full potential, and giving them a voice. I dream about having such a devoted, ardent feeling towards something in my life. As I embark on new phases in my life, and I continue to think about college and my future, I wonder how I could ever make an impact like the one Michelle Obama has made not only on our country, but on the world. I thought about her message of how the youth have complete control of their future, and how important a higher education was. Through the messages that Michelle Obama gave, I decided that I wanted to be a doctor. With this career I could give back to those who need it the most.
