SJ was a leader because he was friendly to Michael from the start, when Michael first started school he greeted him and the way to be less scary was to put a smile on. SJ also helped Michael and motivate him to become a better football player, he would help him practice and work on plays with him because he knew Michael could become a good football player. The football coach had one moment of leadership and that was when the opposing player kicked Michael in the head, the coach stood up for his player when he knew something wrong happened and the refs were being unfair.
