Secondly, Michael Martin is an American philosopher and former professor in Western Philosophy at Boston University. He also received his PhD from Harvard University in 1962. Martin, on the other hand, believes “logic, science and ethics presuppose the nonexistence of God” which is the transcendental argument for the nonexistence of God, appreciated as TANG (Martin 17). Martin believes that the conclusion of TAG is unclear and is not proven by its premises. Therefore, he has found a fallacy with the argument, which is a counter argument.
