The research that was gathered about Michael Jordan’s historic NBA career, was very efficient to the researcher. The different opinions made it hard to agree that Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time, but in the end, the opinion stays the same. There are ten sources that will show the reader and have the reader decide who they think is the greatest of all time. All of these statistics that Jackson (2016) shows are really incredible for Michael. He even mentions a famous quote that Larry Bird said in 1996 that says, “I think it’s just God disguised as Michael Jordan.” (Bird 1996). This statement shows Michael’s love of the game and proves that he is hands down the greatest of all time. To start out her article Morgan (2015). says, “Michael Jordan is referred to the greatest of all time, aka the G.O.A.T.” (Morgan 2015). Michael’s fame grew and grew in the fifteen years of his NBA career and he never changed. Normally when people get famous the fame goes to the person's head and that person would change and people would hate them. Michael did not do that, which proves his class and passion to the sport. Michael Jordan changed the game for the NBA superstar. In the article it states, “Even contemporaneous superstars recognized the unparalleled position of Jordan. Magic Johnson said, ‘There's Michael Jordan and then there is the rest of us.’ Larry Bird, following a playoff game where Jordan dropped 63 points on the Boston Celtics in just his second season, appraisal of the young player was: ‘God disguised as Michael Jordan.’” (NBA History 2013). These two NBA greats saying these statements just proves that Michael is the greatest of all time. His rookie campaign was extraordinary. Throughout the years Jordan became a true champion. The comment Bruce (2016). gives about the greatest ever he has seen means a lot. People who grew up watching the NBA in Jordan’s time will say he is the greatest.
