Michael Jeffrey Jordan became one of the world's most famous basketball player. Through these events Michael Jordan gained fame from overcoming these challenges. Michael was born on February seventeenth, nineteen sixty three, in Brooklyn New York. As a young kid michael grew up playing baseball, he did this because his dad loved the game of baseball. Michael also loved to play basketball and always dreamed of making it to the NBA. Michael grew up in Wilmington North Carolina, and wanted to play basketball or baseball for the college. Michael grew up playing basketball against his dad and his dad stated that Michael had this competitive drive in him always going the extra step to improve his game. As Michael grew up he tried out for his varsity basketball team, but fell short in not making the team. He was a sophmore in high school that time. This motivated him to become better over the summer working hard everyday. The following season Michael grew taller and stronger over the hard work. His senior season he …show more content…
In college michael had to prove to everyone else he's a star player. He keep his the same mentality to strive to get better every off season. Michael was named acc freshman of the year with his relentless hard work averaging thirteen points a game with a high shooting percentage. Michael made it to the national championship game where he faced off against one of colleges best players Patrick Ewing. Michael and his team played a tough game but with the last posention to the Tar Heels they gave it to the Star player Michael Jordan and he made the game winning shot. Michael stayed in North Carolina until his junior season but through these season Michael averaged seventeen points a game and got rewarded with all ncaa first team selections in his sophomore and junior seasons.
