Let’s look at his early life, career as a basketball player, and what he’s doing today.

Michael Jordan was born on February 17,1963 In Brooklyn, New York. His dad worked as General Electric. His mother worked at a bank. Jordan like sports but didn’t make it. He failed to make it to his high school basketball team, but continued to practice and made it the next year. He accepted a scholarship from University of North Carolina. Some sports he played was baseball, golf, and basketball. Michael Jordan’s first coach was coach Phil Jackson.

After College, he was drafted to the Chicago Bulls and named “ Rookie of the Year.”
