Michael Jordan was a former hall of fame basketball player that played from the late 80’s all the way to the year 2003. He has won 6 NBA national championships and made a sneaker brand that is still selling sneakers today. The basketball legend was born February 17, 1963, in Brooklyn New York. Michael Jordan is the fourth of five kids Larry, James, Deloris, Michael, and Roslyn. They moved when Michael was young to Wilmington, North Carolina. He went to Trask Middle School where he played for the basketball, baseball, and football teams. During this time his grades weren’t doing that well. In Michael’s sophomore year of high school at Laney, he stood at 5”9 inches. He was a B+ student and was very good at sports except for ironically basketball. In baseball, he threw 45 consecutive scoreless innings which proved how athletically gifted he really was. In basketball, he would play occasionally but get subbed out.
