Michael Jordan’s father loved playing baseball, so he decided to follow his dream. Even though it seemed Michael would never return to basketball, in 1995, Michael returned to the Chicago Bulls after his famous quote: “I’m back”. Even though the Chicago Bulls seemed like they would be unstoppable with the addition of Michael Jordan, the superstar just returned to basketball, which would mean that he is out of shape and most of his old teammates left the team. During the offseason, Michael was training and learning his teammates, which would prepare him for the 1995-1996 season. According to Jonas VanderWoude, “During the 1995-96 regular season, the Chicago Bulls set the record for most wins in a regular season, winning 72 of 82 games. This record would not be broken for 20 years” (FHC Sports Report). There are eighty-two games in the regular season of basketball. Out of thirty teams in the basketball league, only sixteen teams can make it to the playoffs. Which would mean that only two teams out of thirty can make it to the NBA Finals.
