Michael Jordan has the ball with 3 seconds left, 3, 2, 1, Ahhhh! MJ hits the buzzer beater, bulls win the NBA championship!! Good afternoon Ms. Robinson, and fellow classmates I will be speaking to you about the Top 3 athletes of all time. First I will talk about Wayne gretzky, then I will talk about Michael Jordan, and finally I will be talking about Roger Federer. Off to the locker room!

#1. Wayne gretzky. Wayne Gretzky was born Jan 26 1961 in Bradford, Ontario. He has many awards! He has 31. A couple of them are the Hart Trophy and the Art Ross trophy. Gretzky played in the NHL for 22 seasons!! As of 2015 Gretzky still holds 60 records! Gretzky is so good they retired his number (#99) all around the NHL. Not just the teams he played on but the whole NHL. Gretzky was announced into the Hall Of Fame in 1999. Gretzky’s most famous quote is, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan was born Feb 17 1963. You thought Gretzky had a lot of awards but you were mistaken Jordan has 61! Jordan also starred in the 1996 film Space Jam as himself. In 2006, he became part-owner and head of basketball operations for the Charlotte Bobcats. Jordan became the first billionaire in NBA history. Jordan earned $100 million from Nike and that's the most money any NBA player has gotten from their sponsor. The 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card is one of the most important cards in the history. For modern card collecting, one could argue it's as good as the 1952 Topps Baseball Mickey Mantle card.
