One of the most important things you need for training is preparation. Preparing for your training is just as important than training itself. For instance, evaluate your strengths/weaknesses of your personal skill, and athletic ability. By evaluating your strengths and weaknesses, you’ll know what strategies are best for you to use on the court. Put your strengths and weaknesses to the test, and imagine the plays used in the game, and know what moves you should make. Evaluating your athletic ability can help a lot by paying attention to the height of your jumps, and your speed up and down the court. Those are the most common things a recruiter looks for in a potential player. Another main focus for training is concentration, some players go to practice just to fool around and shoot around. You need to approach your training like a real life game and situation, and you will be zoned in. Your mind tells your muscles what to do, if you’re not fully focused on training then your performance during your game will suffer.
