Michael Brown’s medley, which includes I Want You Back, I’ll Be There, Rock With You, Thriller, and Man In The Mirror, is a tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Born in 1958, the eighth child of the Jackson family started his professional music career at the age of six as a member of the Jackson 5. The Motown ensemble attained a crossover following, scoring seventeen top forty singles on the Billboard Hot 100, including I Want You Back and I’ll Be There.
While still maintaining close ties with the Jackson 5, in 1971 Jackson began to focus on his solo career. Between 1972 and 1975, Jackson released four solo albums. In 1978, while filming the The Wiz, Jackson met producer and composer Quincy Jones. Together, Jackson and Jones produced
